The third weekend of April sees the defending MotoAmerica SBK Champions Yoshimura Suzuki on track at Road Atlanta with Toni Elias and Roger Hayden onboard their new GSX-R1000 machines for the opening round of the 2018 series in America, Buildbase Suzuki at round 2 of BSB at Brands Hatch in the UK following Bradley Ray’s double win at Donington Park with the GSX-R1000 a fortnight ago; plus Autotrader/ Yoshimura Suzuki Racing at round 14 of AMA/ FIM Supercross in Minneapolis, USA with their RM-Z450 and RM-Z250 machinery.

April 13-14: Round 1. MotoAmerica SBK Championship. Road Atlanta. USA. Defending MotoAmerica Champion Toni Elias and 2017 series runner-up and team-mate Roger Hayden are aiming to put their new 2018 Yoshimura Suzuki GSX-R1000 machinery at the top in this opening round of 10 events that will be run over 20 races.

April 13-14: Round 2. British Superbike Championship (BSB). Brands Hatch. UK. Following his double victory at Donington Park two weeks ago, Buildbase Suzuki’s Bradley Ray lines-up alongside BSB team-mate Richard Cooper on their 2018 GSX-R1000 Superbike machines, while in the National Superstock class, series leader Billy McConnell aims to keep his series lead intact on the Stock-class-specification 2018 Buildbase Suzuki GSX-R1000.

April 13: Round 14. AMA/ FIM Supercross. US Bank Stadium. Minneapolis. USA. Weston Peick and Malcolm Stewart return to action on their Autotrader/ Yoshimura/ Suzuki Factory Racing RM-Z450 machines hoping to improve on last weekend’s results at a muddy event in Seattle, while in the 250 East Coast series, Jimmy Decotis and Kyle Peters will be in action on their Autotrader/ Yoshimura RM-Z250 race bikes.
